If I am not tending them in my garden then I am taking photos of them...

(the first Rambling Rector rose - far too early, of course).
I can not resist painting them.

(Yarrow - done at art class last night)
Then I put them all over the house.

And spend oodles of time listening to radio programmes about them, looking through catalogues and gardening books and watching TV programmes about them.
I am utterly and totally flower obsessed :)

Love your painting! And how could one not be obsessed with flowers, yours are wonderful.
And why not? By gum lass you can add painting on to your list, 'things I do well.'
Love your painting, echo "things I do well" sentiment, I cannot paint or draw to save my life, so shall have to find something else to put on my list! Ali from Dorset.
Join the club. I spent a very happy couple or three hours yesterday afternoon in a friend's garden. We were oohing and ahing over various blooms and hauling out her gardening books to identify them. Ended up surrounded by books, flowers and with very happy smiles on our faces. Love your yarrow painting. Love Lesley x
Me too.
Another one for your I am good at list. The painting is fantastic.
You know, a person could do worse than to have a flower obsession! :D
I love your flowery home and the painting is radiant! I always envy those who actually get around to painting instead of, like me, just thinking about doing it!
I have a similar obsession.
I like looking at other people's flowers, too, whether in person or in pictures.
Have never seen a Rambling Rector rose before, and he is handsome!
