Hello
Greg sorted the computer virus (saving us £600 plus - thank you Greg!!) and we are back online.
It's been a strange week.
A week of just carrying on carrying on. Do you have weeks like that? Weeks when you're just glad you got through. Nothing mega awful happened but you just saw the frailty of it all. As Miss Read puts it; at night time it was just lovely to go to bed "and shelve life for 8 hours".
So when the going gets tough Lynn gets gardening!
The ducks continue to visit each day.
Alex is up to his eyes in 'A' level revision, Daley is in talks at work re a promotion (!) and Greg is studying, applying for jobs 100 miles away (gulp!) and taking a diving course (gulp! gulp!)An elderly relative needs more TLC than usual. Steve's back is on the mend. And I am learning not to worry (yeah right).
I can see me doing even more gardening!
We now have buzzards "visiting" each day. They circle the garden usually just two of them "mewing" at each other. Very high up. One day we had six - quite a sight. Each day I try to get a photo and thus far have failed quite brilliantly!
Better go; am aiming to have chores done by 2PM and then I can "play" in the garden :)The gravel garden at the side of the house is coming on a treat - will put piccies up when I'm nearer completion.
Much love, nice to be back.
L.x.

Lovely to see you back on line Lynne. Life is obviously busy right now, take time for yourself amongst all the other needs!
Glad you are back in the land of the blogging!
Great weather for gardening up here, what's it like where you are?
Tell Alex, "Good Luck" with the revision, not an easy time.
Love Susi xx
Hi Lynn,
Yes, I get days like that when going to bed is the highlight.I think we all do.I have two lovely collared doves who spend their days in the tree in my garden.I had to rescue one from my cat this morning.I hope its ok.I've never had ducks visit though, they are such characters.
I also have a son revising. He is doing his standard grades this year.Fingers crossed for all the kids who have exams and have to study when the weather is so nice.
Glad you managed to get back online again. :) Yay for our kids!
It's great weather for garden pottering, I hope you have a lovely afternoon. :) xxx
I'm glad you are back! I had a week like that last week and I'm glad for a new one. We are on spring break this week so I'm home. Yay!!!
Lovely to have buzzards visiting your patch - lucky you! I agree about the gardening, this year I just love being out there, pottering around. And things are beginning to look better because of it. It is so nice to see the results of all that hard work.
Well done on Greg for getting you back in line.
Hope you are keeping well &loving this weather.
Kim
I identify with you, friend, on the trying week AND the gardening cure. Being outside in the sunshine (when we have some that is :) is wonderful medicine for the soul. Sunshine and laughter can cure most everything. I enjoyed your post.

You have a lovely blog, so glad you're keeping with it. I identify with so many of your posts, even though we're quite far apart. (I'm in Texas.) Happy gardening! Beth
Just stopping by to let you know I am thinking of you!
Blessings & Love,
Sharon
So glad you are back with us.
What a beautiful garden you have and those lovely roses will fill your world with perfume.
I use my garden for therapy as it is the only place I seem to be able to think clearly!
Look after yourself,
Topnan xx.
