Thrifty skewers

I love the way skewers can make a little bit of meat look like a lot more.

Similarly they make expensive Summer fruits go that bit further.

Fruit skewers drizzled with white & milk chocolate............

To go with these, I mixed icecream that had vanilla pod/seeds in with apricot compote to make a yummy ice-cream that looked and tasted posh but was a fraction of the price.
