Edith Schaeffer's Hidden Art of Homemaking

Edith says...........

"There is no occasion when meals should become totally unimportant. Meals can be very small indeed, very inexpensive, short times taken in the midst of a big push of work, but they should always be more than just food. Relaxation, communication, and a measure of beauty and pleasure should be part of even the shortest of meal breaks."

I think of her words so often.

Oh, Lynn, I agree! I love anything Edith Schaeffer has written! I have that same exact book. I pull it out often and still find a great resource!
Hope you are doing well.

I MUST read that book again! It was such an encouragement to me when I was a young bride. Thanks for reminding me of it x
